Arts in the Afternoon: Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra

Colorado’s acclaimed Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra will provide live musical accompaniment to the classic Buster Keaton film Sherlock Jr. After failing in his amateur detective work, projectionist Buster Keaton falls asleep and enters his own film, dreaming that he’s a super-sleuth. Mont Alto is a chamber quintet based in Louisville Colorado, known worldwide for its rediscovery and revival of original music from 1920s movie theater libraries.
